Building on its former tech DNA as Singapore’s I.T. shopping mall, the revamped Funan Shopping Mall will be the future of smart integrated developments and a platform for retail innovation in the heart of the city – a new paradigm in living, working and playing.
The main feature is the 24/7 drive-thru Click & Collect station, to automate the merchandise delivery process. Based on the client’s brief, I designed, fabricated and built a 3 x 4.5m drive-thru station, complete with neon-flex lighting fixtures, signages and a little sliding door that delivers the merchandise.
For the other scenes depicting a rooftop farm, indoor cycling track, facial recognition robot, and hands free shopping experience, we prepared and dressed various spaces and locations belonging to Capitaland.
